From the 1st of October 2014 you no longer need to display a valid tax disc in your car window. If you have one dated after this date you can remove it and destroy it.
You still have to PAY your road tax as before but you won’t receive a disc in the future.
From 1st November you can pay by direct debit.

Speeding being the main offence at 60% of learners, followed by another 40% jumping a red light. But put into context that only accounts for 1% of the 7,000,000 learners on Uk roads. Nearly 1/3rd got points for no insurance and 1 in 6 were charged with driving recklessly.
Is this because they drive with friends or family rather than an approved instructor?
